A Day in Hyde Park
On Friday 10th May, Surrey Class (Reception Class) enjoyed a ‘Green Fingers’ workshop in The Learning Centre at Hyde Park. The children were treated to a huge variety of activities, including herb tasting, planting geraniums and making natural flower collages.
The children were able to further their knowledge linked to this half term’s question ‘How do plants grow?’ when they learnt about the importance of pollination. Manar “Plants are the same us because they need air to be alive.” Arwa exclaimed “I loved everything about today but especially running in the park!”
